Ridiculous Pieces Of Art That Sold For Millions Of Dollars Part 1/2

There are paintings and then there are paintings. The ones created by Michaelangelo, Vincent Van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, Rembrandt, Salvador Dali and Andrew Wyeth to name a few can fetch for millions of dollars. Theirs are masterpieces that use techniques that are worthy of praise and well, monetary compensation.

Paintings below however got us scratching our heads. They are simple to say the least and lacking in uhm, color. We’re no Da Vinci but we do know how a plain painting looks like, never mind the fact that most of them, if not all, are abstract in nature. But hey, despite this unprecedented detail, these paintings happen to be worth millions and millions of dollars. Perhaps we’re really just not great at deciphering the story behind abstract expressionism’s such as these masterpieces.
